Pregnancy Diaries: Things To Do in The Initial Months For Safe Delivery!

by admin

Heya!! Done with the first phase of pregnancy celebrations? Must be! What’s next?

Amongst the joys of transitioning into life’s next phase, one thing that must be bothering you already is the labor trauma and how to pass on that moment with ease. We’ll tell you!

The preparation for a normal delivery starts today, right when you come to know that you are expecting. It is the safety, precaution, and health you consider today that results in smooth and easy labor to come in a span of a few months.

There would be many significant body transformations that you will notice every month as you get closer to the date. And, such transitions should be honored and handled with responsibility and integrity.

So, how should you start? Let’s talk about it!

It’s Time to Have the Most Nutritious Diet You Ever Had!

When was the last time you were on a specific diet? Wait, let’s guess, was that a part of the shaadi prep to fit into your dream lehenga and get that healthy glow? Great, but this diet needs to have more seriousness than that.

It’s time to eat the healthiest you have ever eaten. Honor your cravings, and implement lots of fruits and vegetables, make dry fruits and nuts a part of the morning ritual, coconut water to keep the hydration stacked, and everything your gynae has advised you to have.

Note:

It is also the time when you need to be most aware of what’s there on your meal plate. As important as it is for you to eat clean meals, it is also mandatory to keep a watch. Ensure you are not having anything you are allergic to, avoid fruits like papaya (you know it, but still!🙃), cut down on caffeine, and everything your doctor has asked you to!

The more informed you are, the easier the tough months would get!

Healthy Movement is Good!

The most visible change in the coming months would show in your body. There would be times when some part of your body would feel the pressure, experience uneasiness and some would also freeze. But should that mean you should just lie down on the bed all day? No! Exercise means strength, and your body needs it now more than ever. But, wait, hold on! Don’t rush to grab dumbbells.

You can’t be doing anything and everything that a non-pregnant woman would do. There are parts of the body requiring special focus for relaxation and increased flexibility. Thus, you must reach out for pregnancy exercise classes by experienced professionals. Unless you have good knowledge in the field, don’t do it yourself. Take help from experts.

Sound Sleep is Important!

Say a strict no to improper sleep routine because now you are responsible for another life to be born!

Ensure that you are sleeping at least 8 hours a day. If the hectic routine needs to change, change it. Cut down on extra work and feel the need to hit the bed on time.

Get Parental and Labour Education

It is so important to educate yourself about delivery and labor in detail. Try to find information on how you can build your pain resistance levels through breathing and relaxation techniques and what other sorts of labor-coping management exists. You can get into a conversation with your doctor or join parental sessions to have in-depth knowledge of the birth-giving phenomena.

You can cover chapters on pain management, do online research, read more books on the topic, and shed apprehensions and fears about childbirth and labor. The more you know, the more you can connect! All of this will eventually help you in developing a clear mindset for the ultimate moment.

Ultimately, You Need To Be Happy!

Keeping the pains, stress, and uneasiness beside what keeps you there is the joy of having transitioned from one phase to another. The reason why you willingly go through the phase is a result of the joy of having an addition to the family.

Keep everything aside and think that whatever it is is just for a few months but that will result in the most valuable joy you would hold for life.

Giving birth is not easy, it was never supposed to be either, after all, it’s about bringing another life into the world! Stick to the phase, stay strong through the struggles, and experience the little joys because this is something you are bound to be grateful for!
